PTU Tut: Honey Bee's Spring
PTU TUT ~ ~ ~ Honey Bee's Spring

This tutorial was written on April 15, 2014.
Any similarities to another tutorial is purely coincidental.
Please do not claim as your own.
This tutorial writer assumes you have a working
knowledge of using Paint Shop Pro.
This tutorial was done in Paint Shop ProX4,
but can be adapted to use in other
Paint Shop Pro versions.
Tutorial

Kit: Spring Bee

Tube: By Ana Neves, entitled, Maze. I purchased this kit at DSI, which is now closed.

You MUST have the proper license to use this work!
Here's what you need:
Plug-ins: Gradient Glow
Drop Shadow used: Vertical 4, Horizontal 4, Opacity 82, blur 4, color: #202020
Inner Bevel: Bevel 2, width 15, smoothness 25, depth 18, ambience 4, shininess 30, color: white #ffffff, angle: 4, intensity 35, elevation 63
Font: Pea Ellie Bellie HERE
Font Color: #dab841 and #f34f7c (or other colors from your tube/ kit)
Remember, please use all images properly, and license where applicable.
We will start from the bottom layer up, unless otherwise stated.
Abbreviations used:
DS - drop shadow
RTF - resize to fit
C/P - copy and paste
Ready? Let's begin!
Open new image 500x500
(please, dont forget to save as you go!)
C/P elements, RTF, refer to my image for placement and add DS

C/P sb_ee31, RTF, See my image for placement.
Open Tube, Shift D, exit out of original tube;
Copy and paste in image, add DS of choice.
Move image to where you want it. Duplicate it.
Leave this on the bottom for now, name tone copy Maze, the other Maze2.
We will get back to these soon.
C/P paper 11, RTF and duplicate; rename one layer PL1 and the other PL2.
Take your magic wand, activate the frame layer, touch inside bottom side of frame,
expand 10, invert, activate Maze layer, delete.
De-select.
Repeat with Paper PL1.
Take your magic wand, activate the frame layer, touch inside upper side of frame,
expand 10, invert, activate PL2, delete.
De-select.
Change blend mode to soft light.
C/P elements, RTF, refer to my image for placement and add DS

Bring up Maze2. Erase those parts you do not want.

Add copyright layer with proper license.
Add name, convert to raster, inner bevel: (see above for Inner Bevel Details)
Then add Eye Candy Gradient Glow to name, width 12, Corners, 25, Opacity 100, color from tube add DS.
